Dear Counsel,
My name is Miyoko Kazuo. I am contacting your firm in regards to a divorce settlement with my ex husband Naoki Kazuo who resides in your jurisdiction.

I am currently on assignment in S.Korea. We had an out of court agreement (Collaborative Law Agreement) for him to pay $648,450.00 plus legal fees. He has only paid me $148,000 since.

I am hereby seeking your firm`s assistance in collecting the balance from him.

He has agreed already to pay me the balance but it is my belief that a Law firm like yours is needed to help me collect/enforce payment from my ex-husband or litigate this matter if he fails to pay as promised.

Your's truly,

Miyoko Kazuo

  4. Currently am living in South Korea for an assignment and Noaki live in Pennsylvania. I tried calling a couple of times and with the time difference(+13hrs EST) it is a little bit difficult to gauge the best time to reach you vice verse. We agreed under this Collaborative Law Agreement attached to this mail for a one time cash settlement of $648,450.00 usd to his credit, he has paid me $148,000.00 usd but still owing $500,450.00 usd. He is aware of my intention to seek legal actions. I will be pleased to provide further information on this matter on request. I expect this to be a non-litigation matter. I have already advised him I am planning on retaining your firm. If possible please send me a retainer agreement so that we can proceed. Also send me the payment information of your firm just in case my ex-husband wants to make the full payment he owes without further delays or possible litigation. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

  6. Our firm has recently received two (2) emails from this scammer. We replied to the last with a cut and past article regarding her email scam for her reading enjoyment.

  7. Got a similar one from "Peggy Higashi"

She even sent a photo of her passport (most likely forged) and a fairly legitimate looking Collaborative Agreement. However the last page of the agreement was a little off and did not resemble the rest of the document.

    Ole' Peggy is getting better.

  9. I got it too. I knew something was off when I saw several gramatical errors in the "agreements" attached. Why try to scam lawyers? I'd think scamming attorneys would be of no avail.

  11. Well, let me join the ranks too of this scam by Ms. Miyoko Kazuo. My name is Dr. Keenan Cofield, esq. former counsel, international banker and fraud investigator. Ms. Kazuo, attempted to use the same scheme with me. From experience, with international money matters, I always verify checks especially large sums. Citibank informed me that the scam is from Canada.

Any case, I made a case file, playing along with the game for now, and will turn over my findings to the FBI, and US Postal Service people we personally know. If her and her husband stay put for another week or so, they will be in custody.

    I shall keep everyone posted......

  19. Thanks for your reply. I want you to know that, my ex-husband and I had a collaborative agreement, an out of court agreement after our final Divorce Decree, to pay me a onetime cash settlement of $648,450.00usd to his credit; he has paid me $148,000.00usd but still owing $500,450.00usd. Attach herewith is a copy of the Collaborative law agreement in pdf format and a copy of my international passport for your review. Currently am living in South Korea 2F, #178-2, Muk-Dong,Jungrang-Gu Seoul,131-140 Seoul South Korea for an assignment while Naoki lives in Libya.

The lawyer that represented me Ms. Susan E. Hargrove is retired now and I have not been able to make further contacts with her until date. As you know, time is of great essence. As stated in the collaborative law agreement, I understand that any lawyer can represent either of us when appropriate and needed. My husband is aware of my intention to seek legal actions and I am yet to advise him I can retain your firm.

If possible, please send me a retainer agreement so that we can proceed. All the necessary information, I have given to you is what I can offer for now. Once I receive a standard retainer/cost agreement from your firm, I will go through it and will get back to you at the earliest and if I am satisfied with it, I will sign and will provide you with more information between Naoki and I and also give your firm a call at my earliest convenience. For now, email is the best way we can communicate as am presently in Korea for an assignment. I hope to hear from you at the earliest convenience in this regards.

    Kind regards,
    Miyoko Kazuo
