Dear Counsel

My name is Hillary Tiachi. I am contacting your firm in regards to a divorce settlement with my ex husband McConnell Tiachi who resides in your jurisdiction.

I am currently on assignment in South Korea. We had an out of court agreement for him to pay $496.500.00 plus legal fees. He has only paid me $183,000.00 since.

I am hereby seeking your firm`s assistance in collecting the balance from him or litigate this matter if he fails to pay as promised because He has delayed for too long. If you are in the position to represent me at the moment kindly advice immediately.

  4. Dear ,

I want you to know that my ex-husband and I had a collaborative agreement, an out of court agreement after our final Divorce Decree, to pay me a one time cash settlement of $950,500.00 usd to his credit, he has paid me $251,500.00 usd but still owing $699,000.00 usd. Attach herewith is a copy of the Collaborative law agreement in pdf format and a copy of my international passport for your review. I tried calling a couple of times and with the time difference, it is a little bit difficult to gauge the best time to reach you. Currently am living in Japan for an assignment and McConnel Taichi lives in your jurisdiction.

The lawyer that represented me (Nagoya Daiichi Esq.) is retired now and I have not been able to make contact with him til date. As stated in the collaborative law agreement, I understand that any lawyer can represent either of us when appropriate and needed. My husband is aware of my intention to seek legal actions and I am yet to advise him I'm planning on retaining your firm.

If possible please send me a retainer agreement for my review. All the necessary information I have given to you is what I can offer for now, once I receive a standard retainer from your firm, I will go through the agreement and I will get back to you within the next couple of days, and if I am satisfied with what ever I see, I will provide you with more documentation and copy of divorce decree regarding Mr. McConnel Taichi and I and also give your firm a call at my earliest convenience.

I hope to hear from you soonest in this regards,

    Yours Truly,
    Hillary Taichi.

  10. I received this email through our firm's website. Echoing my thanks for the info letting me know it's a scam.

    Good Day Counsel,

My name is Hillary Tiachi, I am contacting your firm in regards to making a
collection in relation to a divorce settlement initiated in April 2011
with my ex husband McConnell Tiachi. We mutually agreed under a Collaborative
Participation Law Agreement to go our separate ways after 22 Years of
    marriage.
McConnell had agreed to pay me $496,500.00 under terms of the agreement so that
I can settle down and to his credit he has paid me $183,500.00 but with a
    balance of $313,000.00.

I am currently visiting my family in Tokyo for 12 weeks and I am seeking
your legal assistance in sealing the agreement and making collection. I
will be providing further information upon your request; Prior to our
    separation due to
irreconcilable differences, I was a good house wife catering for our two
    children.

Please get back to me if this is a case you can undertake. He has agreed to
pay me the balance and act courteously and in good faith, but it is my
belief that a Law firm like yours is needed to help me make collection or
litigate the matter if he fails to pay as promised. I look forward to your
    response.

    Thank you.

    1. Once you are retained, you get an easy win i.e. the "husband" emails you a certified check for some amount close to what is owed. The check is either stolen or forged. You deposit into your trust account, and remit the balance less you fees to the "client." By the time the certified check is returned, they have your trust account money, you are left holding the bag, and probably have trouble with your state bar for mismanagement of client trust funds. I've heard that a similar version of it has happened to very large firms in Birmingham, AL and Tampa, FL. See, https://www.flabar.org/DIVCOM/JN/jnnews01.nsf/8c9f13012b96736985256aa900624829/889041f52a4bc150852577a40065de8b!OpenDocument

man, he is into Real Estate Management, We both agreed under a
Separation Agreement incorporated, merged into and made part of the
court decree for a settlement of Child Support, Spousal Support, and
Medical support of $578,000.00USD, he has paid me $78,000.00USD but
still owing $500,000.00USD and the stipulated time for completion of
    payment has long elapsed.

I am hereby am now seeking your legal assistance in collecting the
balance or helping me enforce and have him honor the agreement. I will
be providing further information upon your request. I have already
advised Takehiro Susumu my ex that I will be retaining a lawyer, so he
knows I am ready to take action to get my money from him, So I will
require you to send me your retainer agreement base on an hourly rate
so we can start from there. I need to know if I will be able to work
    with your terms.

Attached is a copy of the Separation Agreement, Decree of Divorce .

This is my first time seeking for a lawyer and I believe a law firm
like yours is needed to help me collect payment from him or litigate
this matter if he fails to pay as promised. Please send me your
retainer agreement for my review in your next email. Please be inform
my english is not clear enough, let me know how we can do this?

  51. Glad I googled the name of one of the alleged attorneys in the Collaborative Law Agreement, this thread came up. I'm in New York. Here's my email:

    Dear Counsel.

My name is Paris Jun. I am a contacting your firm in regards to a
divorce settlement with my ex husband ( Michael Jun ) who resides in
your jurisdiction. I am currently on assignment in Japan. We had a
court agreement for him to pay $578,000.00 plus legal fees. He has
only paid me $78,000.00 USD since .

I am hereby seeking your firm to represent me in collecting the
balance from him. He has agreed already to pay me the balance but it
is my belief that a Law firm like yours is needed to help me collect
this payment from my ex -husband or litigate this matter if he fails
    to pay as promised.

    Sincerely
    Paris Jun .
